To Our Friends, Supporters, Customers and Readers-
Please note, the bricks and mortar portion of Medieval Mayhem Ltd. was closed in October 2004.
Due to health issues f we've decided to focus our energies exclusively on the website.
Additionally, I sadly share with you the death of our 19 year-old son on January 6, 2005.
Please, hug your kids tight, hold them closer than ever before; and if you suspect they are out of control- you're probably correct.
I will always miss him, he has left an emptiness that cannot be filled.
In Light, Peace, Health and Love,
Lady Robyn and Kevin of Mayhem! 04-16-05

The Little Engine that Could - 1930
By far the most familiar telling of the tale of the Little Engine first appeared in 1930. Published by Platt & Munk, it was "retold" by Watty Piper and illustrated by Lois Lenski. Watty Piper never existed; it is a "house" pseudonym for Platt & Munk and was used on numerous other children's books. The frontispiece and title of this edition included the statement "from the Pony Engine by Mabel C. Bragg, copyrighted George H. Doran and Co." and a notice of trademark for the title.
