A wonderful korambit purchased from an Australian knife and sword dealer. The korambit is a Sumatran weapon of Indonesia. They were used as weapons and utility knives. The double edge blade was useful for skinning small game. This korambit is exceptional; featuring an engraved horn scabbard, carved horn handle and damascus blade. The double-edged blade is a bit over 6" on the inside, 5" on the outer edge. The back edge is a robust 1/4" thick. With handle in scabbard the piece is 10" straight across and about 13" on the curve. This piece has a high polish all over and is a delight in use and display.
