Ruffling at the neckline and wrist accents our ruffled chemise. The chemise is worn under all gowns, bodices and skirts -- somewhat like a medieval slip. Chemises absorb the body's soils and leave less wear and tear on the outer garment which was usually more expensive. 100% cotton; machine washable. This chemise comes with a generous length of drawstring at the neckline and has very full and long sleeves, with elastic at the wrist.

Caress yourself with luxury in this white on white jacquard weave chemise in a delicate floral design. This beautiful chemise will add elegance to any gown. Its long drawstring allows the ruffled neckline to be worn modestly high, or daringly low as your mood allows. The long full sleeves will allow sufficient fabric to pouf through any sleeve. One size, 100% silk, white only. Hand wash, mild detergent, cool water, hang to dry, cool iron if necessary.
